Strategic Planning Blog update: October, 2013

Welcome back everyone to Malone University’s Strategic Planning blog!  Apparently, all of you did such a fine job collaborating last spring on the proposed vision statement that our leaders would like to hear your comments now as to the first fruits of the effort to construct an excellent strategic plan for the university.

Process for blog participation:

*LOGGING IN: Click here “LOG IN” to get started.

*TO VIEW BLOG DISCUSSION: Click  Fall 2013: Your take on Malone’s Strategic Plan either here or in the BLUE LETTERS from the menu list on the top, left side of your screen.

*PARTICIPATING:  As with any threaded discussion, simply add your comments to the original post (i.e., propose vision statement) or to anyone’s earlier comments.  If the webpage doesn’t displaying your actual name/position, please add your name at the end of your comments so we all know who’s writing (e.g,. Jeff Beine, Assoc Prof, School of Ed).  Thanks!

*CONFIDENTIALITY: Access to this site is restricted to members of the Malone University faculty, staff and administration.

Personally, I felt that last spring’s blog discussions were one of the most interesting, encouraging cross-campus, community experiences that I’ve had the opportunity to participate in over my five years here at Malone.  Perhaps an ancient king’s observation might help us to find the time and motivation in our busy schedules to support this blog initiative once again:

Folly brings joy to one who has no sense,
but whoever has understanding keeps a straight course.

Plans fail for lack of counsel,
but with many advisers they succeed.    (Prov. 15:21-22)
